What is a blackhead?

When a clog or plug forms in the opening of your skin's hair follicles, blackheads form. Each follicle has one hair as well as an oil-producing sebaceous gland. Sebum, or skin oil, keeps your skin soft. A comedo is formed when dead skin cells and oils accumulate in the opening to the skin follicle. The bump is called a whitehead if the skin over it remains closed. When the skin over the bump opens, the air causes it to appear black, resulting in the formation of a blackhead.

Where can we find blackheads?

Blackheads are skin bumps caused by clogged hair follicles. Blackheads are so-called because the surface of these bumps appears dark or black. Blackheads are a type of mild acne that typically appears on the face, but they can also appear on the body parts listed below:
Back / Chest / Arms / Neck / Shoulders
Acne is the most common skin disorder in the United States, affecting nearly 50 million people, according to the American Academy of Dermatology.

How can we treat blackheads?

Removal by hand : Dermatologists or other specially trained skin care professionals use a round loop extractor to remove the plug that is causing the blackhead. After making a small opening in the plug, the doctor uses the extractor to remove the clog.
If you don't already have a dermatologist.

Microdermabrasion : A doctor or skin care professional uses a special instrument with a rough surface to sand the top layers of your skin during microdermabrasion. Sanding the skin gets rid of the clogs that cause blackheads.

Light and laser therapy : Laser and light therapies use tiny beams of intense light to reduce or kill bacteria. To treat blackheads and acne, both lasers and light beams penetrate beneath the skin's surface without damaging the top layers.

What can we do to prevent?
1. Wash frequently. To remove oil buildup, wash your face when you wake up and        before you go to bed. Washing your face more than twice a day can irritate your    skin and aggravate your acne. Use a gentle cleanser that does not irritate or redden your skin. Antibacterial ingredients in some acne cleansing products kill P. acnes bacteria.
2.Make use of oil-free products. Any oil-containing product can contribute to the formation of new blackheads. To avoid exacerbating your condition, use oil-free or noncomedogenic makeup, lotions, and sunscreens.

You can follow this tips without spending any money. but if you can get skin care product and invest in a cleanser it would be a great idea.
